ViKING general server components
On ViKING, various server components handle various processes. For example, the U component handles article changes, and the Z component handles post processing.
It’s the composition of components on a ViKING server that gives the server it’s “identity” as a store service, enterprise service, or omnichannel controller.
ViKING systems are different. Not all of the following components may be used on your servers. Also, to meet individual requirements, such as requirements for integrating with special online receipt services, special shelf-edge label services, or special loyalty points management services, your organization’s ViKING servers may use components that aren’t listed here.
